A Personalised Wedding

A personalized ceremony reflects your style, your story.

It is the moment when you take your vows and make you commitment in front of those you love.

It is a moment in which your truly unique love story is shared and celebrated by others.

If you decide I am the right celebrant for you then I will support you to develop a ceremony that is truly about you as a couple and encompasses all the special aspects you want to include.

Once you have confirmed your date and paid your deposit we will meet for a second meeting which I always ask couples to allow 2 hours for. At this meeting I will ask a heap of questions, I will listen to your story and we will identify special moments you may want included in the ceremony. We will discus ideas around music, readings, any rituals you may want to include and much more.

I will write up a draft ceremony which I will send to you for feedback, I want you to feel free to scribble over this, amend it, my commitment to you is that I will write a truly unique ceremony for you, we will get it perfect.

The things you need to do:

• Pay a deposit of $200 to secure your date
• Arrange your marriage licence within 3 months of the wedding
• Arrange two witnesses
• Think about readings, music, rituals that you might want included in the ceremony
• Contact me if you have any worries or queries.
• 3 days before the ceremony make my final payment

Within the week of the ceremony it is my preference that we have a rehearsal, preferably at the venue. You bring your licence and music to this.

If a microphone is needed this is an extra cost. Some venues supply a microphone so please check this out.

After the ceremony I will check all legal documentation has been filled out correctly and email it to BDM. You will be left with a copy of the marriage licence on the day, please identify the person you want me to give this to.

The cost of a Personalised Wedding is $450

Simple Personalised Ceremony

This is the middle ground between a Registry style ceremony and a Personalised ceremony.

• For this ceremony I will provide you with the choice of 2 set scripts. No changes can be made to these. I am happy to include a couple of paragraphs of personalized words or a story.
• I will provide guidance to write your own vows and ensure these meet the legal requirements of a marriage.
• I will explain to you how to apply for your marriage licence.
• You will need to provide photo identification, the venue, two witnesses and can have up to 30 guests.
• I will arrive 30mins before the ceremony and remain until the official ceremony ends.

Rehearsals can be arranged at an extra cost.

The cost of this wedding is $250, I will require a $100 deposit on booking and the remainder to be paid 3 days before the wedding.

Elopements

This can be a fun way to get married with just a handful of guests. This is perfect for those who don’t want the big traditional wedding. Up to 15 guest or more in discussion with me.

• I will provide a set script for the ceremony.
• You need to arrange the venue.
• I will support you to apply for a marriage licence.
• You will write your own vows, I will check them to ensure they meet the legal requirements.
• You need to organize two witnesses
• You need to provide photo ID.
  You need to provide music is you want this.

Elopements can be a huge amount of fun, adventure and be truly individual.

The cost for an elopement is $200 which needs to be paid at the time of booking.

Vow Renewal

A vow renewal ceremony is a special way to look back at your first ceremony and reaffirm your vows or write new vows that reflect on your growth, your marriage and all the in-betweens.

This is a wonderful way to acknowledge your unique love story and to share this with those closest to you. It could be guests from your first wedding but also new friends and new family members.

We will meet on at least 2 occasions to discus your needs, I will develop a ceremony that is unique and reflective of you both as a couple.

• Pay of deposit of $100 to secure your date
• You need to set a date and venue
  Write your vows which I will help with
• Have two witnesses (note this is not a legal ceremony)
• Organise a Vow Renewal Certificate, you may want to design this yourself.
• Make final Celebrant payment 3 days before the ceremony.

Cost for a vow renewal is $300
