About Pauline
I have had many adventures and challenges in life that have taught me to grab the moments and fill them with fun, friends, laughter and celebration.
Becoming a celebrant has been an extension of my belief to celebrate the moments with those we love and care about. Being a celebrant had been a dream of mine for a long time, so I completed a Certificate in Celebrant Studies through The Celebrant School, Te Wananga Korowai Aroha. Through these studies I developed skills in writing ceremonies that are very reflective of the couples I work with. I gained knowledge of the legal aspects related to a wedding and the need to ensure these are met. I also developed skills in creative writing which supports the development of unique, personalised ceremonies.
To the role of Celebrant I bring the many skills I have developed from my work life as a Registered Nurse. I also have qualifications in Counselling and Life Coaching.
When not busy with work and studying I enjoy spending time with my family, Bruce my husband of 43 years, my children Aaron and Keshia and their partners, my 5 wonderful grandchildren and my 5 very special siblings and their families.
Over the last 4 years I have become a passionate gardener. I am establishing “Serenate” our rural property on the boundary between Whanganui and South Taranaki. My hope in the future is to offer the use of this property for Elopements. I can spend hours on our property amazed at the growth of the 100’s of trees we have planted.
Another passion/love of mine is being on water and whenever time and weather permits you will find us on our Nolex25 enjoying a sail and the pure joy and freedom this provides.
I bring a bubbly energy to life, I believe in grabbing the moments, writing ceremonies has allowed me to expand on this by playing with words to develop truly unique ceremonies.
If on your special day you want a calm, relaxed, organized person around you that brings energy, support, guidance and enthusiasm then I would be privileged to support you.
